From structured lessons and a season-long junior tournament circuit to Tuesday-night chess at the brewery, we’re creating more ways to play across the GTA.

Here’s some of what we’re up to right now:

Group Lessons Toronto Chess Club Academy Young players—from complete beginners onward—build skills through matched Levels, Chess Steps instruction, guided play and peer learning. Structured classes for ages 6–16 keep progress purposeful and engaging. Explore the Academy Tournaments Toronto Chess Club Youth Circuit Eight one-day CFC quick-rated junior tournaments in Markham and Oakville. Every event is a CYCC 2027 and Winter Cup qualifier. Play one or play them all. Your best four results count. Explore the Circuit Weekly Chess Pub Chess Liberty Five quick rounds, a welcoming crowd, and a brewery full of chess. Join us every Tuesday at Left Field Brewery in Liberty Village. $10, cash or card. Join Us Tuesday Lessons Private 1-on-1 Chess Lessons From a first lesson to tournament preparation, students receive personalized online or in-person coaching adapted to their age, experience and goals, with flexible scheduling.
